DRACO

Mike Patey and is talented mastermind have created a 680hp monster.

Hard to believe we have not see one post on here about this incredible build given it basically dominated Oshkosh and is blowing the internet up in all of the social media platforms and various web sites.

For those of you that have seen it in person you understand. For those of you that have not, the leading edge stands at over 10.5' tall, weights 2500 lbs and when fully loaded lands and takes off in under a 150'... no joke. At Osh and various other stops on our trip Draco would be right at the 100' mark on both with 60 gallons of fuel and a pax on board. It's truly a one of a kind aircraft that did not spare a single detail. It's an incredible aircraft needless to say.

If you have not seen it in action I encourage you to see any of our videos that have been shared or go to Mike Patey or Trent Palmers YouTube channels to see more.

In just over 2.5 weeks Trents video about Draco has had over 1.7 MILLION views...link here is at the bottom. Enjoy

Re: DRACO

Draco is one bad ass plane! I hope Mike brings it to HSF so I can get a look at it in person. I was surprised this was the first post about it here also.

Re: DRACO

I followed Mike’s v-log as he was building it. It was awesome. The guy has skills and the ability to make anything he dreams up become reality.

Re: DRACO

Hard to tell what is more impressive, the actual airplane or the talented fellow who created it. Both very very impressive!

Re: DRACO

His build log videos are seriously good. I have learnt so much from watching them. A very talented and modest guy.

It looks like a beast, I sure hope he brings it to HSF again.

Re: DRACO

DRACO is an AWESOME creation!

Mike has incredible vision and an ability to bring his visions to fruition. He is also a down to earth guy with an infectious stoke that brings everyone around him up.

Re: DRACO

AKT I’ve been following Mike’s build progress since Trent first mentioned it in one of his videos. I actually considered posting about it here but decided to leave it to you or one of the many other members here with more intimate knowledge of it.
Since I didn’t read anything here about it I guess I figured there was a reason.

Amazing man that created a very functional work of art IMO!!

Re: DRACO

Trent Palmers most recent vlog has some great footage of Draco in the back country. Just AWSOME performance as well as piloting skill in the video!
