Sorry if I led you on an incorrect path. I was convinced by the residual pressure in the lines that you reported.
Hey, no need to apologize...I was looking for suggestions, possibilities, and others experiences and I appreciate all of the information provided by BCP members. I decided to order all the parts ($120.00 total) and start troubleshooting with the easiest and working my way up.
Shims did not work, thus eliminating my "pads may be too thick theory". Before removing the wheel cylinders, I stood on and released the brakes then had a helper crack the AN fittings. No pressure so I figured this was a good indication that the master cylinders were not holding pressure. Next was the rebuild and re-install of the wheel cylinders. That did the trick but had it not solved the problem I would have moved on the the masters.
I have the parts so I still plan on doing them for good measure as soon as its down for some other upgrades.
Thanks again,
