Electronics International COVID-19 update

Hello all-

As many businesses have been temporarily closed due to the Coronavirus pandemic, I wanted to quickly write and let everyone know that we are remaining open and doing business as usual as an "essential business" under federal and state guidelines. We are here to answer your calls and e-mails and are shipping orders close to our normal lead time. We are offering an "In The Spirit of Sun 'n Fun Rebate" for order placed now through April 10, 2020! Please see our website for details and updates: https://iflyei.com/

We hope you all stay safe and remain in good health!

Re: Electronics International COVID-19 update

I like your products but more importantly whenever I have had a problem with your product even if installed 10 years ago you always take whatever time is necessary to get this low tech guy squared away.

That panel looks stunning, and I love the yokes.

What are all the buttons and how did you wire them?

Re: Electronics International COVID-19 update

Do the products have to be purchased through EI to get the rebate or is it from any retailer like Aircraft Spruce which is significantly cheaper than direct from EI website?

Thanks

Thanks
I've always gotten the discount even when purchased fron Spruce. It's a mail in rebate.

Re: Electronics International COVID-19 update

Absolutely correct! :D We sell at full retail in support of our dealers as to not compete with them for sales. The rebate is indeed valid if items are purchased through our dealers and we encourage our customers to do so.

We typically do not know when we are releasing our next rebate until a few days before doing so. However, it is a safe bet that we will be offering a Spirit Of Oshkosh rebate similar to what we did for Sun N Fun.

I'll double down on the thanks for the support. I'm a PIA customer and I've only had anything but willingness to help from Dave and company. Anything engine monitoring related I'll be sticking with EI.

I'd like to mention that E.I. is an awesome company. They're sponsoring a video project we're producing that I'm excited to share soon.

Re: Electronics International COVID-19 update

I have a MVP-50 in my Husky and its an incredible unit. I really like talking to the EI folks at the shows, they are always full of great little hints and tid bits of info. There is no way I would do a panel resto or upgrade and not put in an MVP-50 or the round version that fits into a standard instrument hole. Great product and even better customer service.

Re: Electronics International COVID-19 update

And we very much enjoy attending the shows! Meeting new customers and continuing to build relationships with our existing customers is by far my favorite part of the job. This is a bit of a solemn year with most of the shows/fly-ins being cancelled. I'm REALLY looking forward to hopefully getting back to some type of normalcy in 2021. As always, thank you all for the extremely kind words! I've shared this forum with most of the staff here and it brought smiles to all.
