Sometimes the most fun way to get into the backcountry, Part 103 Ultralights and Light Sport Aircraft have their own considerations.

That's too bad. He had it dialed in pretty sharp. Anyway, that one will serve as a template for you and anyone else looking to build theirs up. It's good that it will still be around.

From AVweb's photo of the week section... Caution, may give "sellers remorse".

I know it gives me "didn't buy it" remorse.
What is it about 260 Maule's photos? They always pop off the screen.

Damn it Joe! That was leaving Dewey Moore this past BCP fly in. Jeremy's got a great eye. That pic is my background pick on FB.

Those of you who know N191EW, and especially those who know the S-7, know this is a special plane. A basic ad just doesn't capture it all, so I put together a website to help market.

But here is what will be going on Barnstormers tomorrow. If anyone knows anyone who is interested and serious, please pass along.

Looking back through this thread, I noticed that neither this post nor the webpage lists the asking price. No offense, but people having something for sale without putting a price on it is one of my pet peeves. Kinda like a store that doesn't put price tags on it's merchandise. I generally don't even bother calling when there's no pricing info. Surprisingly I've seen this alot with airplanes-- a big for sale sign on a ramped airplane, with no price and sometimes without even a phone number or any contact info at all. WTF??
What is/was the asking price on your S7?

The upper right corner of his webpage lists an asking price of $68,000. I had to look twice for it, but it wasn't that unnoticeable.

Re: FS: emflys Custom 2009 Rans S-7S - SALE PENDING!

The price/contact info link was in invisible ink on my computer monitor, but when I waved the cursor around in that corner it appeared & I clicked on it.. OK, that's more like it. Thanks.

Re: FS: emflys Custom 2009 Rans S-7S - SALE PENDING!

Guess I should have put in the subject line, but...

Asking price was posted on the website front page:

As well as on the page from the link :"Price\Contact"

It's also on barnstormers with the price. Guess I should have also posted that link, but I wanted to direct people to my website (at least from forums) preferentially because its a free add and has a lot more "glam".

Re: FS: emflys Custom 2009 Rans S-7S - SOLD!!!!

A bitter sweet day. N191EW is sold, and its going to a BCP'r and an all around awesome guy. Brent (DCO-65 on BCP) came down from OR this weekend and we did the annual on the plane, inspection, and got Brent some flight time. He will come back to pick it up sometime in between now and end of Jan depending on weather, and holiday schedules. He's been absolutely painless to deal with, and eager to get the deal closed.

He's going to have no trouble transitioning into the plane. He's flys Tcarts and gliders, so he got the hang of the Rans in about 2 landings.

He really committed to buy it as soon as he made his first uphill, off field hillside landing (which he had no problem with) and got cow shit all over the wings and windshield. Yeah - I think we'll be seeing him on the backcountry.

Bitter sweet, but stoked the plane is going to a great guy and a BCP'r. The plane will be going home to live somewhere around Aurora or McMinnville, OR.

Congrats Brent! You're gonna love the plane.

Re: FS: emflys Custom 2009 Rans S-7S - SOLD!!!!

His TCart experience will serve him well. Sounds like a great match, congrats to both, make that all 3 of you!

Some may have heard a TCart is hard to land. Floats a lot, hell it's still flying is why, same with the S-7. By the time I get a hard break at the stall ( full flaps, in ground effect, carrying a little power, I'm at low 20's airspeed, still with good lateral control plus good viz. Brian, you are going to have fun.!
