Not sure if this has been posted before, it is the ATC tapes of an engine partial power loss over central Oregon. The Lanceair made a safe landing in John Day. I thought it was an interesting listen.

Yea, that guy was cool through the whole thing. Almost sounded like he was excited to try out the Synthetic Vision. Hope if (or when) it happens to me I can stay so calm.

Nice job, compare that tape to what must have been going on with the UPS 747 in Dubai. The more I hear about that one the worse it sounds.

I know the pilot - he's very professional and shared the whole story at the last airport meeting last week. Great job of staying cool under pressure!
