engine swap underway

Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?

engine swap underway

Well I have finally started ( well finally got someone to start) the engine swap in my M6. I am replacing the houred out J1A5D (0-540) that still runs great with an almost new J3A5 (0-540). the old one runs great but it is at TBO and is factory original (1984) so I do not want to tempt fate!! especially being a new pilot. my wife doesn't get excited about this so I thought I'd share it with you guys. Hope you don't mind. I am out of town for the next week so I will post any pictures they send me, and then a bunch when I get home.
