Just to show that even a blind squirrel finds the occasional nut...
CubCrafters created the new position of Direct Sales Manager and hired me to fill it. Moving the family to Yakima soon and I'll be starting up there July 15th. So if you're up for a factory tour, demo ride, or have business with the factory in Yakima we will probably get a chance to meet. Aside from Oregon, Washington, and Alaska factory direct sales, I will also be helping support the rest of the CubCrafters dealer network and managing their end user community development program.
Hopefully I can also be an online resource for BCP'ers regarding CubCrafters products and services. Even though I've been flying mostly Cub type aircraft for fun for almost the past 20 years, there is going to be a bit of a learning curve going taking the professional career from the construction world over to aircraft. Despite that, if anyone ever has a question regarding CubCrafters products or services, feel free to let me know and I'll try and find the answer for you or get you in contact with the correct person.
I've been enthusiastic about taking airplanes into remote areas for a long time, and I already know some of the people on this forum. One of the biggest draws for me in taking this job is the chance to meet more folks like myself interested in back country aviation and also the chance to introduce new people to this type of flying. For me, it's a dream job.
Anyway, I'll be part of the CubCrafters crew as Oshkosh this year. For those of you going, stop by and say hello if you have a chance.
Brad
