Excellent job Zane!

Zane,

I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed watching your "Winds of Texas" video. What a fantastic production! You told a great story, did an excellent job with the narration, camera work was very good and the music you used was not obnoxious. Simply superb!

Re: Excellent job Zane!

Thanks! I'm trying. Still learning this video production stuff. You have no idea how many outtakes there were for the narration, and it still sounds retarded... 8)

Apologies to those whose footage didn't make it in. I chose the footage I used for being in-focus and less shaky. I had some of Tom Ford's and Bill Tracy's landings, but the shot was out of focus :( And that guy in the yellow Super Cub, i think you're here... that was when I flinched and ran.

Also, I think it's time for a dead cat: More engine noise and less wind.

I've tried several wind screens with only marginal improvements. Would love to hear your results.

Are you sure you posted that to the right forum? Somehow it feels like lingerie should be involved in one way, shape, form or another with the use of such device! :?

Anyway, if it's not a mistake and you really do want one of those shagadelic thingies I'd be happy to donate the cat (already dead). Just say the word and I'll have one headed your way (limited color options: orange, black/white and calico available now!!). On ice, of course, to keep the smell down. May need to allow 2-3 days acquisition time. :-s

Any chance someone could link the video to this thread? I've been fruitless in my search for it. Thanks.

Dang buddy, you know it's on YouTube as well and you can prob watch the low res version with a slower connection (360p)? Click the YouTube link in the site footer and it should be under "videos."

I know the feeling. The OBP fly in videos were my first attempt at that. Sooo many effed up takes.
