Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”
Went through "underwater egress training" again during our annual pilots meeting. If you have never done this it is a real eye-opener. It applies to both airplane and helicopter. A real plus for float flying.

From what I have read the egress training is very worthwhile and could very will be the difference in surviving an emergency water landing or float nose-over. I just read another of our own (180 Marty) has joined the ranks of float-plane pilots. Congradulations! Maybe as the ranks grow we will have enough interest to host a egress training seminar for our members.
