FAA to look into Aging Aircraft???
Discuss the legality of flying the backcountry, FARs, advocacy, and aviation relevant legislation. Registered users only.
I don't own a plane (yet) but know many of you do, especially older Cessnas and Pipers, so thought you should see what the FAA is apparently considering, and see what the AOPA is trying to do about it.

My AOPA is coming up for renewal, and for several reasons I was about to let it lapse, but I think I'll sign that check now.

Sounds like they're on the right track... The FAA seems to want to squeeze out GA and just deal with the "big guys"... that's where the glory is, I guess... haha
EAA has a proposal together too...although I don't think either one is "THE" answer right yet...but it's sure a start, and ya gotta start somewhere!!
Thanks for the update!
