Fairbanks area A&P

I have a customer thats interested in a C182 project up in Fairbanks, but im looking for someone local who can take some pictures of the logs for us, as well as give us a general overview of the condition. Anyone know anyone that can do that for me? Will gladly pay.

Thanks.

Chena Marina is amazing if they aren't busy. Down to earth dudes.

Jon at Northland Aviation also great.

I've had plenty of work and annuals performed at both of these and I second both recommendations. If it's at PAFA then Jon's nearest. If it's out of town, especially toward North Pole (or at Chena Marina), then you might have more luck with Chena.

Yes, Mark or Nathan at Chena Marina Air Service, or Jon McIntyre at Northland Aviation.

When I was involved with selling a plane, we got several inquiries from potential buyers out of the area who wanted to see copies of the logbooks. I think any seller should be willing to provide either a xerox copy or a digital copy. I think all of us should have a digital copy anyway of our own plane, so it would be readily available when selling. Imagine the pain we would go through if our logbooks were lost or stolen.

Ya, I agree. He lives away from the plane so can't get to the logs for us.
