farm kids that never had an airplane land in the yard before

I got a call from a ranching family a few drainages over that want to look into a PV system to help defray their power bill. I of course took this as de facto permission to fly over and land if possible. It was and I did yesterday. I am always glad to help out, now these kids can say they have been there and done that.Image The bad part was by the time I screwed around on the way there, I realized I would be late for an appointment I had back home, so after talking airplanes I had no time to talk about the PV stuff, so now I may have to fly over there AGAIN #-o, probably tomorrow in fact as the weather is looking perfect. The bottom picture is about half way home, that's "my" ridge in the distance, about 1 to 2 o'clock, with that big gnarly cliff like peak, it's called "Haystack". I get there and hang a left and I'm home.Image

You're living the dream Courierguy! I'm envious of your set-up and job. Cranes and Planes.
I figure this would be an opportune time for a Simko Tribute Photo Montage...
