Agreed, changing the boot is NOT fun! The first one went fuzzy after less than 12 months, camera failed, sent back for warranty repair with the freight and customs costing almost replacement price. It failed again after 6 months and they offered a partial credit on the new unit with a glass lens that was meant to protect the sensor. This was good for a couple months, then the inside of the glass fogged up and it was unusable again. I pried out the glass and it worked great for a while until the sensor failed again. By this time it's just out of warranty and they won't fix it, so I'm pretty hacked off this time and can't be bothered with them anymore.

So we've been using the $25k Olympus Videoscope bought for PT6 boro's to look inside grotty cylinders....

However, this has prompted me to lean on them hard again and they've given a substantially reduced price on the ME-610 videoscope, so hopefully this one will be reliable, or I've been suckered again!!
