FBO/Fuel price app
Nothing happens without it. Discuss fuel locations, quality, alternatives, and anything else related to this critical resource.
Found this great app that allows you to input your Local airport and then enter your destination airport and it posts the current fuel prices and also all the fuel prices along the way of your route. You can configure it to look for Mogas, 100LL or jet fuel. Very handy especially when you realize the huge difference in prices.

Airnav has had its app out for a year or so. I've found that it tends to crash more easily than some apps, during the update process. But it does work.
So does ForeFlight--easy to find out the fuel prices along your preplanned route, and if you want to, you can plan your route to match the fuel prices.
Neither is a guarantee, though. Fuel prices can be changed in minutes, and those won't show up until someone notifies the app developers.

AirNav has a price guarantee listed on their website. They claim if the price is more than they have it listed for, under the guaranteed price, they will refund you the difference. ....so they claim.

I'm sure they're banking on just about nobody making a claim. So let's say I buy 35 gallons, and the "guaranteed" price is $4.77, but I'm charged $4.95. 35 x .18 = $6.30. Is it worth my time to claim a $6.30 refund??? And the disclaimers that AirNav has make it even less likely anyone will claim a refund--such as that you have to check the AirNav price at the time of the fueling. If all that hassle and that small amount of money makes a difference, maybe a different hobby should be considered!
