First flight
Aircraft building and project-level overhaul forum -- Kitplanes, experimental amateur-built, homebuilding, or even restoration of certified aircraft.
Doing the first flight of my Rans S6ES this Saturday. Hoping to start flying places my RV-4 wasn't quite suited for. Anyway, wish me luck.

I was wondering what happened to you. I was diggin through some older threads last weekend and came across your avator and was thinking I hadn't seen any posts from you in a while. Unless I wasn't paying attention. Anyway, good luck!! Any new pictures?

Hey Scott, BTW, there are two more Rans S6's headed to Johnson Creek in June. Just in case you can make it.

Actually, right now, I think there will be at least 5 S-7's and 3 S-6's.
Have fun Saturday!

Yeah, I've been lurking and building. But this is it, no more building airplanes for me. 2 is enough. Time to start flying and posting stories and adventures again.
Emmet, I'd like to go to JC and meet some of these characters. They don't know me but reading all these posts I feel like I know them all real well. It all depends on whether or not I can get my 40 hours flown off and how much money I have left after saving up for Oshkosh. I WILL get to JC at some point.
