First time on skiis!! Whooo Hoooo
Two of the best inventions ever, skis and airplanes, together.
Did my first ski flying in our 90 hp Champ today, what a blast!! We have about 8 or 10 inches of soft snow everywhere around here, so conditions were perfect. Kind of neat taxiing around and making wide turns!

Pictures, we need pictures!
I'm a little jealous, we only have about 1 inch of snow here in Turtle Lake. But we don't have to clear the runways.
It's been cold, about zero give or take for a couple weeks. I'm ready to go ice fishing.
Congratulations
Bill

Flat country, not sure where you are at but just hop in your bird and head east. I'm outside Itasca State Park and we have at least a foot-fott and a half here. I've got a 1000 foot strip at my place but broke my leg so no flying for me this winter. Besides......I'm headed to Hawaii tomorrow for the winter.

My wife is stationed there (US Army).
Lots of snow over here but I'd be a little careful of the lakes yet. They were freezing good but this snow load sort of put the kabosh on it.

Keith,
18" of snow or Hawaii, that's a tough choice. You must have chose Hawaii because your wife is there. Seriously, I do like winter here in the north but 2 weeks in the south pacific wouldn't hurt anyone.
I'm in central ND, half way between Bismarck and Minot on a private strip. Keep us posted on any fly ins in your area, maybe Lance and I can team up and come your way.

Bill, that sounds fun--I am between Fargo and Grand Forks and about 30 miles west of MN on a Private strip.
It shows up as Fugleberg on the sectional. Skiis only for a few months on our strip, it looks like.
