Flap Cartridge
Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?
I'm thinking of installing a solid link and removing the spring cartridge. I do not think I have full flaps ever because of this thing. Sure they go full on roll out . Anyone done this?

this was discussed over on the maule pilots forum.
the flaps are supposed to fully deploy at 55mph. you could have a co-pilot confirm this, cause you will be busy at this speed. if they are not deploying, you may need a new cartridge.
here is the link to the other topic
(zane, i hope this is legal- if not you can erase it)

Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”
It has been done and I can tell you it is a little harder on things (cables etc..)
