Flew a Super Cub..... On floats

Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?

Flew a Super Cub..... On floats

The floats part was fun, but very impressed with the Super Cub, lots of fun, and you fly it all the time, using rudder, felt to me like a bike in the air.
I have flown some ultralights , and never liked them much, but the Super Cub its great.
I can see why you guys like it so much for backcountry, you guys are lucky.

My 182 will feel like a truck now!
Wish could own a Cub someday.

Just the humble opinion of a wannabe bush pilot.
My 182 is fun too, and performs, but its just not the same.

+1

+ANOTHER ONE!! :)

I just thought of the day I got checked out in a 172, when we got back, they asked how did I like their plane? I said it's like flying a tractor! Can't see over the panel, there's a steering wheel & the controls are all in the wrong place, flaps on a switch (?), and the tailwheel is on the wrong end.
We're good-natured friends so we all had a good laff.

I did my TW endorsement in a SuperCub this summer -- LOVED it! Taught me how to dance with my feet!
