Flying the Goal Coast

I absolutely loved this short film centered around an old 180 flying over the Gold Coast in the Land of Oz

Re: Flying the Goal Coast

Cool video, thanks for posting.
Except that I wasted about an hour today watching some of the other u-tube videos that came up when that one was done. #-o

Gold Coast has a pretty impressive skyline.
Interesting to see how the high-rises are pretty much just along the shoreline, with everything down to one or two stories just a block or so inland.
Googling, I discovered that Gold Coast appears to be the name of the city,
instead of (or maybe in addition to?) the name of the entire area.

That's the life of a procrastinator for you! Gotta love YouTube sometimes...

I have a couple of good friends my age in the area. I'll ask them what they define the area that they call the Gold Coast. It's too bad they went the commercial air carrier route as there is a lot of great Backcountry flying down there!
