A modest little place right on the river, note pass through garage/boat ramp, a neat idea.

A money making hydro electric setup, privately owned, utlizing the abundant water that gushs out the cliff sides, interesting to get the big aerial view of how to turn water into dollars.

The usual 4" spacing on deck handrails of 4", overkill on most decks, not so much on this one.

The Perrine Bridge, don't even think of flying under it, the most important reason being it is heavily used by base jumpers from all over the world. Got a skylight?

That must be the mother-in-law's place on the left.

Passing by Pocatello, the winds were 25 mph out of the west, a direct tailwind at my 400' long strip, so in order to kill some time until sunset and the hopefully dying wind, I parked it over the hang gliding ridge south of town, and killed 1.7 hrs doing some dead stick soaring. I passed the time making a few phone calls and listening to the Sirius sat radio, and at one point got a very close fly by from the local Life Flight helicopter, close enough for him to see the stopped prop
Due to the throttled back down wind cruising and the time spent deadstick, the average fuel burn was 2.3 GPH over 8.9 hours, and I landed with another 2 1/2 hrs of fuel onboard plus reserve. A fun trip!
