That thing was on eBay a while back, if I remember correctly they were asking ~$1m... didn't sell before the auction closed! Haha it said something about not being street legal and that the buyer should not attempt to fly it!

I remember seeing the listing. As part of the sale you had to agree not to fly it which i'm sure made it impossible to sell.

I would like to sit a couple of engineers with aerospace and mechanical knowledge and quiz them about the efficiency of these drones with all the engines or electrical motors and moving parts count. They are maneuverable, but they just don't seem efficient.

The old Sikorsky Sky Crane had a clever pod system that fit in the belly. The helicopter could thereby fly a mobile office or medical clinic. Erickson owns the type certificate now and it does not appear that they make a pod system for it.
