Dale - FlyQ EFB was never free to AOPA members as far as I know. Their web planning version was, but it was called FlyQWeb or something and was only accessible through the AOPA website, not as an app. It was branded under the AOPA name, but it is built by Seattle Avionics and they are ending their partnership with AOPA. It's had a moving map forever. They just upgraded to version 1.4.3. Some of the nice features are terrain and obstacle avoidance, 3D synthetic vision, ADS-B weather and traffic from many devices (not just the Stratus like in Foreflight), plates on the map, extended runways, distance measurement systems, and wind-optimized flight planning. I used it all last year and its a good app (FlyQ was a sponsor of our show). They've added a lot of features to make it very competitive to Foreflight. I liked the app a lot.
