Foreflight questions

Couple of Foreflight questions. Is there an easy way to take an overfly mark? In other words, can I just push one button and record the coordinates that I am over? I know how to take a mark, just want an easier version. Also, how the heck do I make the nearest airport info show up as direction TO the airport, not from? These things make me nuts, if there is not a way to perform these functions maybe I will send them a note.

Re: Foreflight questions

From what I can tell, there is not an overfly mark option.

On the HUD display (on the bottom) one of the data fields can be "Current Lat/Lon".

It takes a big man to cry. But it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

Sorry page 124.
Waypoints can also be inserted by tapping on the Maps view. Tap & hold your
finger on the Map for a moment then release it.

Re: Foreflight questions

tap and hold over the nearest airport - and a window will pop up that will allow you to navigate "direct to" - this will give you the heading to the airport. I'm not sure what you refer to when you say "from"

Re: Foreflight questions

A super easy way is to take a screen shot. Simultaneously press the on switch and the home button ( the one on the top right and the one on the face, lower middle of the screen, in case I have the names wrong). That saves a photo of whatever you are showing on your Foreflight screen.

I don't think you can change that. Try tapping your finger over it and hold, a menu should pop up showing you other options. It is useful for reporting your position though.
