FREE avionics

I have some used radio gear cluttering up my hangar, and if anyone wants it you can have it for free- just pay for the shipping.

Arnav Star 5000 panel-mount GPS, with tray. Old data card.

Narco Com 111B, with cracked plastic tuning gear.
Narco Com 11A, good shape but only 360 freq's.
One Narco com tray fits either of the above.

Terra TX10 base com radio, with base antenna.
Something's haywire with it, not sure just what.

The GPS is state of the art-- for 1993. The Narco com's could be rigged up with a 120v-12v transformer & used for base radio's, or for parts if you need some for another Narco. The Terra base radio could probably be fixed by someone who knows his way around electronics.

PM me if you're interested.

Re: FREE avionics

I'd be interested in the Narco Com 111B, with cracked plastic tuning gear, as it's a drop-in replacement for the Narco Com 120 in my plane. I think my radio's been on the blink - I've been running into a situation where I sometimes get a ton of feedback squeal if I transmit too often, so perhaps some component is overheating and going out of spec. I think the gears in the knob might even be compatible.

Re: FREE avionics

The radios are all already spoken for, sorry.
It doesn't take long when the price is free.

Nope-- "all spoken for" meant all gone.
