Free delivery

While at JC this year, I ended up at one point at Warren, and struck up a conversation with the current owner of the old dance hall about the fact the entire townsite has no commercial power. Next thing I knew a couple weeks later I got a check from him for a couple 90 watt PV modules and as the weather was perfect I delivered them the next day. They were zip tied, taped, and roped and rode perfect. I saved 25 bucks at least in UPS charges, and who cares how much mo gas it took (about 20)! I straightlined it from Inkom, the hard way in other words, usually I cheat, stay low and follow the valleys. This time I just got high and went for it. I spent an hour on the ground in Warren, a quick bathroom break at JC, and was home by 1:00! I did make time for a couple landings on the way, but this was a business trip so only two..... I had stuff to do that day in town and had to make this trip quick. It wasn't like I was screwing around :D ImageImageImage

Anybody know the story on this strip, it's pretty much straight in between JC and Warren, about 10 miles out of JC. Man I was tempted to land there but didn't want to intrude, it looks like fun.Image

Hey, a few more of those ( on the top) plus an electric motor, and you wouldn't even need any of that go juice..
