Re: FS: Highroads PA 22/20 160 - SOLD

Highroad, nice looking plane and I love your photos and videos on the website. Can I ask where (which river) the videos were shot on? Sure looks familier, but I can't place it...

Highroad,
Was this your first airplane? (Just curious)

Yes, first airplane. My dad and I were partners for the first 4 years we owned it and then my wife and I bought him out.

Man, I would love to have it for my first..... I've been daydreaming about putting it down in the hayfields here in the buckeye state ever since i first read this thread. I think it would make a perfect first aircraft.

Re: FS: Highroads PA 22/20 160

Pacer is still for Sale:

Had several people ask if it is still for sale, so thought I would give a brief update.
New EI electronic tach is going in, which is cool. Been flying it because the weather and my schedule have not been on the same page for going over the mountains to pick up the Maule. Getting ready to put some new video up on the website also.

Regards,
Brent

Re: FS: Highroads PA 22/20 160

Just came across these poor quality videos of our trip to AK last summer, and thought they showed the performance of the AC with some weight in it. Had my wife and I, our two small kids, light camping/survival gear, and a couple of hours of fuel on board. This was playing up around Lake George, AK. Oh, and I just asked my wife why we still had such a poor quality video camara to record these important moments in our family's history .......bad move, as she quickly reminded me that we would of been able to buy lots of really nice camaras if we didn't have those "big tires" on the airpane......

Re: FS: Highroads PA 22/20 160

Pacer is still for sale. Had everything lined up for it to go to the east coast, including a ferry pilot, but some last minute financial surprises on the buyers end came up and they had to back out.

So, it is back on the Market. Contact me if you have any questions.

Re: FS: Highroads PA 22/20 160

Sorry your sale fell through, Brent. Reminds me of when I sold my C170 about 4 years ago-- lotsa tire-kickers & a couple fall-throughs. After 11 years of ownership, you'd have thought that seeing it fly away would be sad ...but about having it on the market for about 8 months, I was just happy to finally see it go away.

Thanks,
No hard feelings towards the buyer, things happen and I understand. I am not in a hurry, although it will be nice to have the hangar space when it sells.

Just polished the cowl latches and some other minor things.

Re: FS: Highroads PA 22/20 160

Pacer sold several weeks ago, but just got ferried out to Colorado by one of my friends to it's new owner. Sad to see it go, and hope he will check in on BCP.

Well, the time has come to look for a new home for "triple3eightzulu". My wife and I bought Bill of AKbushwheels Maule, so the Pacer must go. It has been a tough decision, as zulu was our first airplane and we have had a lot of great experiences with her. Our kids have almost grown up in the back seat as we took family vacations all over the western United States, Canada and Alaska.
