Furnace Creek, L06

Lots of info out there about this unique destination. People say the resort is great for brunch but I didn't try it,,, yet. Interesting place to visit though. The van was dropping off a couple of people that were departing in a 170. It is 211 feet below sea level so I had a problem figuring density altitude ;-) . Is there another lower ? If not, I think I might have landed at the lowest and highest airport/airstrips in the cont. US in the same day. Interestingly enough they are only about 80 miles apart. Death Valley is very nice in the fall. Some pictures are at http://www.backcountrypilot.org/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=102

It is the highest "airport" at 9927 feet asl but Coyote Flats is the higher "airstrip" at 9988 feet asl. :-)
