Glacier landing in Switzerland

Hello All,

Here is a video of a guy in Switzerland landing on a glacier with his supercub. I sold him one of my GoPro Strut Camera mounts for his supercub, and he sent me this video back. He gets a bit of Jello in this video since he filmed it at 30fps. He also mentioned he gets a fair amount of engine vibration at 2400 RPM. I asked him to try 60FPS as that usually helps. Despite the bit of Jello, its still a cool video. I emailed him back to get more info on the elevation of his landing site as well as the angle of slope.

Enjoy :D

It wont embed in a post but here is a link to the actual video on youtube.

Let me know what you think,

Life is good. Life is better with wings.

Re: Glacier landing in Switzerland

That is seriously steep, We know the camera usually doesn't do scenes like this justice, so if it looks steep, it is! He picks up speed quickly on the turn around. Damned good flying.
