Going deep on Cessna airframe repairs

Williams were always the go-to for major airframe repairs/rebuilds for Cessnas. Today the algorithm decided to show me their video series published 12 years ago. To me, this is the stuff of nightmares…”just drill out these 739 rivets and remove this skin and these doublers…”

First 3 videos:

Oh, yeah, the 210 trim tab. BTDT. Not a lot of work, just a lot of money.

Re: Going deep on Cessna airframe repairs

Thanks for posting the link, Zane.
Fun for a skywagon guy to watch.
There is 6 episodes on the 185 rebuild,
not all of them are on that linked playlist but I was able to google up the ones not listed.

Looks like a no-expense-spared rebuild-- ti gear fore & aft, glass panel,
several skins replaced due to antenna mounting holes, fancy swoopy paint job.
Next of the series I will watch is "Roy learns wheel landings in the 185".
That might be interesting....
