Me and Terry met up with the owner Tom Lehman of Lehmans air strip. Nice grass strip. Then we all went to the old Oregon Bulb Farm grass strip. Next Sandy River grass strip. Then over to Eagle Nest Ranch grass strip. Next I went to Holmlund Farm grass strip. Video to come.

Had a BLAST flying with Rob and Tom today! I had do idea of all the fun strips in their back yard.

Having a great time on the SOWF Special Ops Warrior Fund Ride. Video to come.

Did a last minute solo trip down to Durango to climb some 14ers. Pretty remote area of CO, but it's amazing how beautiful it is. Had to take the train 30 miles N of Durango and then backpack another 7 miles up the drainage. Spend 2 days up there and climbed four 14ers. Lots of goats and marmots, no bears though. Shortfielder was kind enough to bunk me up the last night before the drive back to Denver. It was good to see you, thanks Gary.

Labor Day was suppose to be sunny and 70* We got fog and 65* So I got to use my IFR rating again. It sure is handy for this. Well it's off to Horse Shoe on the Deschutes River and Chukar Flat on the John Day River today.

Really cool Rob! That is exactly how I would like to use an IFR rating.

Hey Hotrod: no property in PC. My wife wants one, I don't. House=WORK. I like to fly, so the perfect day is fly to PC 45minutes. Stay in a hotel or fly back to Troutdale or Madras. We are lucky, we have a Aunt and Uncle who have a house on the beach 10 miles south of PC. They let us rent any time we want. I need a airport car to leave at PC.
