Good excuse to pack the bike in the skiplane

It's too far to walk to El Harrado, but that's why I have the Montague bike. Seeing the bike in the plane when it's on the skis is just weird, like seeing snow skis in a float plane (which I see an Alaskan pilot has done, landing the floatplane in a open body of water and then doing some back country skiing 8) ), and I claim the dubious honor of coming up with the concept. If others do it I have not seen the pictures.

A couple winters ago I got stuck pretty bad in a remote canyon, and it took almost an hour of digging, packing, and using every trick in the book to get going again. I had the bike along, and all I could think was if I had to snowshoe out, and then a sled head came along and saw the plane, the bike would be a real WTF moment for them #-o

The cheese enchilada special: with chips and salsa while you wait, $5.49! A family run joint, the kind where all the kitchen lingo is Spanish, maybe they speak English when no one else is around, but I like the Mexican places that are run by real Mexicans as it really adds to the ambience :D It was about 14 degrees when I made the bike ride a few weeks ago.
