I didn't make the rules, simply trying to keep Kevin out of trouble. :D Kevin shouldn't be allowed to have rope, bailing wire or duct tape in his position when he is flying. For his own good.

Good fun in the Sacramento Valley

There is a group that flies out of marysville called the cheap suits flying club. They hit a lot of the fun strips in the sac valley. They may not know the legalities but they know how to not get caught. Joey and Emmet know them too. We need to get some of those guys on this forum.

Reminds me of the old Cache Creek Drinkin' and Plinkin' Association. We used to land on the levees out by Woodland to shoot and maybe drink beers. Time or two we had to fly off as we saw a patrol car headed our way...

Interesting how many folks are actually flying in the valley and no one knows about this rule you found. Still not certain where you found it as I have spent hours still trying to find it with no luck. Starting to think you photo shopped it Rob... [-X Well, at least you can find in now when you google it. You come straight to this page. Makes my north circuit up here that much more fun knowing its as legal as you can get.

Willing to bet that most local officials in the remote regions of Kali will not bother you as long as your not landing close to a town or people. I guess from now on the rivers beds that we choose to land on will all be in Nevadafornia.

Good find Rob...I always fly with duck tape, rope, come a longs, pulleys, wire and super glue. You just never know when it may come in handy...

Hey Kevin: it sucks that the govmt puppet masters have so much control. It seems in so many places unless you are hiking you are breaking some law. As we know all to well the govmt looks at these sites and anything we post will be used against us. I didn't know I was breaking law #### doesn't go very far with certain LEOs. The good LEOs will just sternly tell us to leave and not come back.

I say pull the dip stick and get a rag out. If anyone gives us a hard time it was a precautionary landing, I forgot to tighten the dip stick and was loosing oil.

Rule #1 in my rule book. Fun cost money, how much fun can you afford today?

Cheers
