WestJet has a good reputation up here. Smart marketing like that will go a long way.

That's Marketing one O one right there! Very awesome! I've never flown that airline, but I would now if I could!

That's all it takes is treating the costumer like family! Southwest has it going on, too. I haven't had a chance to fly Jet Blue, but heard that's a great airline to fly, too. Plus, a good friend of ours flys for Jet Blue, so must be an awesome airline, too

Westjet seems like it is run by normal people who enjoy people and are willing to poke fun at themselves. They do an April fools ad each year. A couple years ago they announced a child-free cabin. Watch the ad in this link...

Bravo WestJet!!

Love seeing random acts of kindness like that!!

Zim-thanks for that link, I laughed so hard I shed a tear. Sent the link to my wife, we're about to fly coast to coast with a 3mo old which makes me wonder if AA provides that service. I'll likely be slapped, but worth the laugh!!

Fabulous ethical caring Canadians. The video certainly made me smile. There are caring wonderful people all over the world.... it just seems to me ....that an awful lot of them seem packed into Canada..

I used to live in Rochester, NY, and the folks visiting from Ontario were always so polite and friendly... they'd almost say thank you to an ATM machine they were that polite and civil.

Great Advert !

Yes, I think us Canadians over do it a wee bit It's a bit of a Canadian cliche' made light of by comedians. We love the phrase, Thank you. For a while McDonald's restaurant installed robotic talking garbage cans that said "thank-you" when trash was put in them. That was going a little too far and they didn't last long. But I bet many of us do thank ATM machines and quite possibly automatic doors
