Goodyear 26 inch tires on a PA-16 CLIPPER?
Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?
Has anybody gotten a field approval for Goodyear 26 inch tires on a PA-16 CLIPPER?

I've seen a lot of Pacers with them. Field approvals are probably more difficult outside of Alaska. Are you only interested in a field approval? I bet their is an STC for the Clipper. Great plane. I had one a while back. Kinda miss it.

Thanks for the replies!
I would LOVE to have the AK Bushwheels, but would have to upgrade my brakes and gear as per the STC. So, I figured I would try for a field approval for the 26s first, since they are STC'd for the Pacer with my brake/gear configuration.
I LOVE the CLIPPER so far! It has a O-320 and performs pretty well for a 4 seat airplane.

shortwingpipers.org is good, they have helped me out with a Pacer project that I have been working on.
