That's a real shame! I was just watching a GoodYear blimp going by my office window, which overlooks the Lehigh Valley, not more than an hour ago.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that puts an end to a PERFECT safety record for the Goodyears, not even an injury much less a death. A damn shame, especially that it caught on fire, which of course immediately led to pictures of the Hindenburg going down. It does seem like a bit of spin though on what happened: first reports said the passengers jumped out and the ship of course climbed, later reports claim the pilot flew low to off load the passengers to save them....no matter, hope his heirs get some insurance money regardless, bad deal.
