Goofing Around in a Cessna 180

A friend filmed some video from a BC play session in my Cessna 180 that I thought I'd share. This O-470 has a great sound with the bass turned up.

That sound is pretty good. Is that from the onboard mic? Or did you use an external mic? If it's onboard, what camera do you have?

That is the onboard mic from a Canon digital camera. I believe it is a SX40 or SX50 model. The camera shoots pretty good video, but oddly it is not very good at shooting stills. It helped that the air was as still as could be and the canyon resonated the prop pulses very effectively.

There really is no more fun than flying a 180. This is a link to video taken SE of Lewiston Idaho. The video starts slow but there is a low pass that sounds just right.

Sweet 180! It sounds like a Continental 520 or 550 rather than a 470.
