Got Netflix? Watch the making of Art of Flight

Art of Flight is a Red Bull sponsored snowboarding movie from 2011 that has some of the most amazing HD cinematography of mountains and flying ever. In this 6 part series, the making of the film is documented, and it's just as entertaining, if not more so. There are several great scenes of airplanes, including a DHC-2 Beaver, as well as gratuitous helicopter action. Thanks to ChrisG from Shortfield.com for bringing this to my attention!

Just watched the actual movie on Netflix and it BLEW MY MIND!!!

Guess I haven't kept up with ski/snowboard films, but this was amazing!

Now to check out the episodes of the filming.

Finally got around to watching this series on Netflix over the last few nights. Great combination of snow and aircraft. Very impressed with the quality of the video.

I couldn't find it searching the full name. When I just typed in "art" it came up on a list.

First episode seems to be the best so far, all great video quality but varying amounts of snow sports and aircraft.

Found it. Had to change the ratings allowed on Netflix. Someone must say s**t or f**k or something. I know I was, trying to find this on search.

I had to change the parental settings on Netflix to "All" movies. Drove me nuts trying to figure out why it wouldn't show in search.

That 336 is owned and operated by Silvertip Aviation in Revelstoke. I believe they have two 337's as well and fly them regularly.
