If the coverage is indeed the same, I'd go with the low quote. it's kind of a crap shoot-- there's no hard & fast rules on who is,loower. This time Avemco, nect time a broker. And sometimes different brokers come up with better deals than others. I usually call around at least every couple years. On the other hand, I've been with the same outfit forever for my car & home
insurance, and haven't even bothered gettng competitive quotes in probably over 20 years. Go figure.
FWIW I've got full coverage on my C150/150TD: $36K hull value, with 2500 hours & 2200 hours TW, for $783 a year through Regal. I think the underwriter is or at least was Old Republic.
