Gravelly Ridge drive/fly

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

Gravelly Ridge drive/fly

Right up there with some of the world's best drives, like Hwy.1 through Big Sur, or Beartooth Pass, you get the idea. I stumbled upon this the other day, read up on it, and finally decided to avoid the possible mechanical problems and dust of driving it and just fly it at low level. I saw NO one, in about 50 miles, except a sheep herder and two campers, no one on the road so no problems staying low. It would make an awesome mountain bike ride also, the road was really in pretty good shape, no 4 wd required in fact. http://www.bigskyfishing.com/scenic-dri ... -range.php

Stunning.

The open space and solitude are fabulous. Just make sure you keep a heads up attitude re your fuel situation :D

Wow that would be a fun mountain bike ride..... Going down that is. It would be fun to have two or three planes and run shuttles!
