Greenville International Seaplane Fly-In

Anyone planning on getting up to Greenville this weekend? Wish I had the My dog and I are driving up tomorrow and will be pitching a tent at the airfield. We will be at the approach end of RWY 21 on the west side.

Re: Greenville International Seaplane Fly-In

Hey, I realize this is a bit off the main topic, but do you guys know -- are there any New England fly-ins happening during the last week of September through, say, mid-October of this year?

I'm hoping to get back there around then, and would love to find some flying events, either wheels or floats.

After almost two months of flying a Twin Otter overseas, it is going to be good to get back to the US! Finding some good company would be even better.

Thanks much.

Twin Otters sont les meilleurs.

Re: Greenville International Seaplane Fly-In

Pete,

Sorry I missed you... I walked the length of the rwys this AM looking for the Cherokee and didnt see it. Wasnt until just now (getting home) that I realized I was not looking for a "Jeep" Cherokee. I assumed (as I shouldn't have) that you had driven up like me and had a tail dragger.... Too funny. #-o

At any rate, it was a great day.

I was parked on the south side of the approach end of 32. Left about 11:00 Sat morning when the rain started. Turned out to be a good flight back. Yeah, it was a spam can Cherokee, not a 4 wheel type.. Next year I should have the S7S there..Sorry to have missed you,I had to drink all the beer myself.
