grocery getter
Two of the best inventions ever, skis and airplanes, together.
when the closest grocery store is 80 miles away....
skiing in to the local grocery store last weekend for supplies. it's only a 50 yard walk to the store from here. i got a better parking spot than most
cars

Oh yeah, I'm with you. 130 miles to Fairbanks and 194 miles to Wasilla. Now that things are warming up around here I look forward to driving that highway as little as possible, if you know what I mean.

Give it a few weeks and the Tourist Run will begin. I see the Park is expecting the first busses on the 19th of May. Can't wait for the traffic locally!
If either of you need, we can arrange a tie down & transpo during the year to avoid the drive for groceries.

That is sweet. I'd love to be able to land on skis in front of the grocery store and saunter my liberal ass up to the door.
You sure are lucky. UP, you gonna be up there for a while? Or is the gig a temporary thing?

Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”

All I need is a call to go play.
Spent the weekend doing some serious snow machine riding. I'm sore! Triple digits on a 4-stroke. I think I prefer the plane for covering ground.
Ryan, let me know when your available. Is the Village strip good for straight skis still?
