Happy Birthday Zane !

Zane,
It appears a family member has been going through the old photo albums,
I had a couple of Stingrays with the banna seat and high rise handle bars. I'll never have as much time in an airplane as I did on those bicycles. We (I have three brothers) lived on those things, sun up to sun down and then some.

Haha. Thanks guys. My mom uploaded that last night but never put it in a post, so thanks Mark for noticing.
I rode the crap out of that Schwinn, then one day I made the mistake of leaving it in the middle of the driveway and my dad backed over it with the Landcruiser. He got out, threw it in the back, and took it with him. He gave it the rosebud O/A treatment and it came home straight as new, just with a big patch of burned paint. I too will never have as many stick hours ever as I do Schwinn time.

Hey, Happy Birthday man, wish I could say you're catching up to the rest of us but not to be.
Thanks too for a great forum, it's brought a lot of good people together. Wish I could buy you a beer.

Happy Birthday Shane. I spent a lot of time on the same kind of bike. You may have more hours on the Schwinn, but the stick hours have to be more fun.

Zane,
I had a Raleigh 20, and while it was a good bike with a twist grip gear change, I always looked at the banana seat gangs with a bit of envy.
Happy birthday, and thanks for the great forum!

Roger that... actually probably just have a pint. Maybe a Shirley Temple.

The only money exchanges between me and someone wearing a g-string occur when I cough up my mortgage/utility check to Erin.

Maybe this month will be special though.

Have a good one Zane! Have you moved to Portland yet? I'll buy ya a drink in the Pearl when you get here. I think I'll own a Maule M7 by Thursday. Regards...Rob

Good for you Rob! I have learned over the last year that airplane ownership is really one of the most frustrating and yet satisfying hobbies ever. Good luck.
Thanks to all of you for joining in here at BCP, I've really enjoyed meeting many of you and being part of a great community. Happy birthday to me.
