Happy Father's day from the north of the border as well! The Lloydminster flying club (Alberta, Canada. CYLL)also hosted a very successful father's day fly-in and pancake breakfast on sunday. CAVU sky's and warm sunshine brought the crowds out in droves! There was a great showing of planes and pilots as well as local folks who came out. Border City Aviation offered flights for those who were interested. Three planes, carrying interested members of the public, flew steady and at one point there was over fifty people lined up for thier flight! There may be hope for GA after all. There was an unplanned/coincediental meeting of three BCP members as well. GHAN, CCURRIE and myself (AVGAS) were all in attendace and it was great to meet both of them! Very ironic to have three of the few Canadian BCPr's in one place. There was even a discussion of attepting the pilgrimige to JC next year if it works out! We snapped a few photos slated for just this post.
