hd nose fork on 182.Did you guys have to chop the strut tube
Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?
Looks like I will need to cut the strut tube in order to make the hole connected to the scissors. Everyone else have to do this for the swept tail?

Did not have to cut my strut tube. PM me or contact my mechanic in Minden NV. Jim Crozier at Sierra Aero. Great guy, even better mechanic.

In order to install the Landes nose fork on my '56 182 I had to cut approximately 3" off the strut tube.

DID NOT on my Straight Tail -YMMV -Superior prop Ground Clearance .
