Heavy Duty Nose fork difference ?
Have problems with your aircraft? Maybe just questions about how best to tune or adjust something? Regs or maintenance? Need to know the best way to do something?
Were all Cessna HD nose forks bolt on with the block style to oleo? Or were there some that looked like the standard fork but can accept a 6x6 or so ? I’ve been reading through IPC’s and can’t find any standard looking but HD length. A guy at my field has a 172 on 8.50’s and a 6x6 fitting in what appears to be a standard fork. Thanks for any clarification.

I have seen a couple that look like original cast one. They will take a 6.00x6 tire but I don't think a 7.00 will fit. Certain brands of 7.00 will fit a non cast HD fork.
