Heli-Hockey

A fun video from our friends up north. Some hockey players, a few helicopters, and a cool little tilt on a high-altitude frozen pond.

Re: Heli-Hockey

So do we need a film permit every time we strap a go pro on and go take some video? Or what is it about this video that makes it special and requires a filming permit??

Re: Heli-Hockey

National parks typically require permits for any commercial filming. Depending on how picky the authorities want to be, posting a YouTube video with advertising links that generate income could be considered a commercial film. Fortunately, none of my videos have been interesting enough to draw advertising interest.

Re: Heli-Hockey

Thanks flyhound. I understood a permit for just filming, not realizing it was in a park.
