Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?

Hendrix or Hendricksen Wing Tips???

A friend is trying to run down any information he can on a company that made STC wing tips for the PA-20 'n -22 Pipers. The company name was Hendrix or Hendricksen, something like that, and he believes they operated out of Alaska, somewhere. The key questions are, is the company still around and how could they be contacted?

Is this it? It sounds like maybe a guy named Ron Sullivan took over that STC.

Current holder of the Hendrik Hot Tips STC

Following is from the installation instructions:

Briefly, the modification consists of removing the fabric outboard of the outboard aileron cutout rib, removing the existing tip, straightening the spar caps to full spar depth, installing one full-chord Piper rib and one full-chord tip rib, a straight leading and trailing extension, installing the molded tip, then covering the wing panel top and bottom.

Thanks, guys! That sure sounds like it. I've forwarded the info to my friend, and I"m sure he'll be delighted. He and the guy he was working with had struck out on all their other avenues.
