Way to go Rich I remember what it felt like when I got my wings attached - a very exciting day! The more they start to look like an airplane the better it gets. I would really like to see more pictures of your plane as you move along.

Keep going Rich! Go Go Go! Bob Sturgis and I will be glad to help out in any way when first flight time time comes (or any time before). You got plenty of ground crew and extra eyes on safety if you want 'em.

You are correct. Pat was helping me swing the wings. It fits in the hangar with the 205 very well, but obviously more room in the hangar with the wings folded.

You are in trouble now! I have it in writing that you are around to help (I never doubted your word), and you know I will be calling this card in. As always, the hangar door is open and the refrigerator is always stocked with the appropriate adult beverages.

How have you been? I may be down to WHP during the week of 4/11. I'll look for you if I make it.

Hey you can call me anytime you're near here. If I'm at the field I'll be glad to talk airplanes. I've been building another batch of flap handles, things are thankfully picking up now that most of the winter is gone. So I'm at the airport at least 4 days a week.

Hey fellow BCP'ers:

I was at the Just Aircraft facility in Walhalla yesterday, and you will never find a greater group of people. I was talking with Troy about my project and he kindly asked if I had ever flown one yet. Of course the answer was 'no', but that changed within about 5 minutes. There was an Escapade on the ramp, and we were off and flying. It was an unbelievable bird to fly: very responsive blah blah blah. It is everything I could have imagined in a plane.

Any day we fly is great, but to actually get on the controls of what I am building really made my day. I'm so pumped after the flight that I can't wait to get back to SZP continue on N731XS. I just need to be sure she doesn't gain too much weight in the next few months.

Me too. Been kinda looking for an unfinished kit but would have to sell the Luscombe.

I'll take your Luscombe, and you can get the Highlander, and then we'll both be happy. Whaddaya say?

Shoppin for a Luscombe? They are great planes which is the reason I'm only kinda lookin for a Highlander. If I were really serious about selling I'd say you have a deal but right now I just think I have it in me to sell.

Well, vacation starts in just under 2 weeks, interrupted the next week by 4 fun filled days in the simulator, followed by turning my phone off for 4 weeks. I may have to swing by SP on the drive home from Long Beach. haven't been there in decades.
