Hiking/camping in the NorthEast US?

Any suggestions on airports that are close to good hiking trails? Might try 8B2, in the White Mountains of NH, but am open to options.

Plan is to bring a pack and hike/camp for a few days. Thanks

Check out 1I1 Marcy Field in Keene, NY. It's near the trailhead to some of the Adirondack 46 and a nice outdoor shop, the Mountaineer in Keene Valley. Pretty spot. If you end up heading that way, let me know and Pete and I'll come up to say hello. I'm at 4B7 about 25 miles south. Great pie at the Noonmark Diner in Keene Valley as well. A bike to get to the trailheads would be handy. Bring a fly rod if you're a fisherman.

Look at sugarloaf regional in Maine, the Hike up Bigalo is just north west of the airport, I am sure someone would give you a ride to the trail head. If you fly fish bring your rod, they stock the pond on Bigalo.
