Reminds me of the Wing Exec at EDF what seems like hundreds of years ago when I was on EAD. One of my clients was an F-4 check pilot, and somehow the Wing Exec had gotten jet-qualified in his earlier years. So to keep up his hours in order to collect the extra flight pay, he went up with my client every so often. My client said it was "just flat scary to fly with him", as he'd do all sorts of things "that the average Cessna pilot wouldn't think of doing". Since I hadn't learned to fly yet, I didn't know what exactly he was describing, but for an experienced fighter jock to describe it as "scary" said it all.bat443 wrote:Yea, that check airman in the right seat (note 4 stripes) was flying 3/4 pilot. You know, single pilot, 2 pilot crew, 3//4 pilot, what we called it when it would be easier to fly alone. Probably the most hazardous flight the guy in the right seat had flown in his whole career if you factor in the chance of getting shot or life in prison for saying the wrong thing.

Now that's funny! Thanks Evan cause I hate to admit this but I have no idea what the point of this video is.
